PRINCETON, NJ, September 23, 2008 – Ann
Reichelderfer, Esq., a Shareholder in Stevens & Lee’s Estates and
Trusts Department, was an invited speaker at seminars on planned
giving sponsored by the Planned Giving Council of Greater
Philadelphia on September 19 and the Gift Planning Council of New
Jersey on September 22, 2008.
Ms. Reichelderfer addressed development professionals from higher
education institutions and charitable organizations at the Planned
Giving Council of Greater Philadelphia seminar where she presented,
“The Gift You Can’t Use: Tales from the Trenches.”
Ms. Reichelderfer also presented at an event sponsored by the Gift
Planning Council of New Jersey. Attendees included development
officers from a variety of nonprofit organizations. Ms.
Reichelderfer discussed issues surrounding charitable endowments,
estate and trust administration and tax planning.
Ms. Reichelderfer has been in private practice for more than 30
years. She represents several institutions of higher education in
gift planning, trust and estate administration, taxation and
regulation compliance. She regularly counsels individual clients on
tax and estate planning, estate and trust administration and
charitable giving and represents both individuals and institutions
in fiduciary litigation.
A founder of the Gift Planning Council of New Jersey, Ms.
Reichelderfer is a member of the National Committee on Planned
Giving and the National Association of College and University
Attorneys. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trusts and
Estates Counsel (ACTEC) and Vice Chair of the Princeton Area
Community Foundation. Ms. Reichelderfer holds a J.D. from New York
University School of Law and a B.A. from Swarthmore College.
