Stevens & Lee's James W. Saxton Speaks at National Health Lawyers Association Meeting

LANCASTER, PA, July 3, 2003 – James W. Saxton, Chairman of Stevens & Lee’s Health Law Litigation Group and Co-Chairman of the Health Law Group spoke at the American Health Lawyers Association Annual Meeting held July 1st and 2nd in San Antonio, TX. 

Mr. Saxton co-presented with Robert L. Calhoun on the topic “Alternative Risk Financing in a Tough Insurance Market and How Mandatory Positive Risk Management Will Help Make It Work.”  Mr. Saxton presents at over 25 annual conferences on a regional and national basis to audiences of an estimated 2,000 physicians.

Mr. Saxton has written numerous handbooks, articles and textbooks, most recently, Managed Care Success: Reducing Risk While Increasing Patient Satisfaction, published by Aspen Publishing Company. He is a member of numerous local, state and national organizations and boards, and is a Vice Chair of the American Health Lawyer’s Association Substantive Law Committee on health and hospital liability.
