Terry Bossert and Susan Packard LeGros Present at the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council's Annual Meeting

HARRISBURG, PA, June 10, 2003 ‑ Terry R. Bossert and Susan Packard LeGros were presenters at the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council’s Annual Meeting on June 10 in Harrisburg. Mr. Bossert and Ms. LeGros discussed “Sustainability – What is It, Who is Behind It and How is It Achieved?”Mr. Bossert, Co-Chair of the Environmental Department, has over 25 years experience in environmental law and has routinely provided environmental counseling and handled litigation involving air quality regulation and permitting, solid and hazardous waste, site remediation, water quality, water quantity and wetlands issues and environmental criminal defense matters.

Mr. Bossert is the former Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection where he helped guide the agency’s Regulatory Basics Initiative designed to reform and streamline the environmental regulations, and was a member of the Environmental Hearing Board Rules. In prior government service, Mr. Bossert was a Deputy Attorney General and helped establish the Toxic Waste Prosecution Unit in the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, where he presented the first environmental cases to the Statewide Investigating Grand Jury. A shareholder of the Firm, Mr. Bossert resides in the Firm’s Harrisburg office.

Ms. LeGros concentrates her practice on environmental, natural resources and land use law with a focus on administrative law, regulatory compliance and the environmental implications of business and real estate transactions.

Ms. LeGros, Of Counsel to the Firm, previously served as a Section Chief at the Environmental Protection Agency, has twice been Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Environmental Law Committee, and was Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Real Property Probate and Trust Section's Environmental Law Subcommittee. She has also served as a Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association's Solid and Hazardous Waste Committee and was appointed to a term on the Environmental Protection Agency's Finance Advisory Board, which evaluates the interplay of tax and financing policy and environmental programs. Ms. LeGros is a Master of the Delaware Valley Environmental Inn of Court and is a trained mediator. She resides in the Firm’s Valley Forge office.
