Rob concentrates his practice in the areas of
securities, securities industry and general business matters for
emerging and growing businesses. He has extensive experience with broker-dealer
and investment adviser compliance issues, raising
capital for companies and high-technology, software license and computer-related corporate
issues.
Rob has represented investment advisers,
broker-dealers and other individuals before the Pennsylvania
Securities Commission on a variety of matters, including suitability
and excessive concentration claims, viaticals, MLM, promissory notes and general compliance
issues, including organization and registration violations (including
finders). He has represented clients before the Securities and
Exchange Commission and NASD in connection with Adviser's Act
Violations, insider trading and
promissory note cases. He also represents individual investors in
actions against broker-dealers.
Rob is a former staff counsel for the Pennsylvania Securities
Commission Division of Corporation Finance. He served as a member of
the Pennsylvania State University Task Force on Intellectual Property
Policies and Procedures. He is a frequent speaker on
securities and technology law and has written numerous articles in
this area. Rob was named one of central Pennsylvania's
"Forty Under 40," an honor given by the Central Penn
Business Journal to 40 innovative and accomplished business leaders
in recognition of their commitment to professional and personal
excellence in their communities.
