Ernie is President of the Firm and is responsible
for the day-to-day management of the firm and implementing policy and
the strategic plan. Ernie is also Vice Chairman of Stevens & Lee's
Finance Committee and its Executive Committee.
Ernie has over
30 years of experience representing private companies in business transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and joint ventures both domestically and abroad. His practice also includes obtaining, structuring and representing providers of debt, mezzanine and private equity funding in transactions. Ernie has significant management buyout and leveraged buyout experience.
Ernie is a licensed General Securities Principal (FINRA Series 24 and
Series 7).

- Represented Allen Organ Company in the sale of subsidiary
Eastern Research Inc. to Sycamore Networks, Inc., the sale of
the assets of Allen Organ Company to a private buyer group and the spin-off
of excess
assets to Allen Organ shareholders
- Represented Enersys, a manufacturer of large stationary batteries and
a NYSE
company, in connection with three separate acquisitions in Brazil,
Mexico and Australia
- Represented Pohl Corporation in the sale of substantially all of
the assets of Pohl Corporation to Vossloh Cogifer S.A.,
a wholly owned French subsidiary of Vossloh AG, a German public company
