Tim concentrates his practice in regulatory law for companies in the financial services industry and is regularly involved in obtaining approvals for mergers, acquisitions and other business expansion activities for regulated financial institutions. He also practices in the intellectual property areas of copyright, trademark, computer and Internet law.

He deals with the four federal banking agencies on a regular basis, along with the SEC, NASD and a number of state banking, insurance and securities departments. Tim has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of regulation affecting financial institutions, including banks, thrifts, holding companies, insurance companies, broker-dealers, investment advisors and investment companies.

In his intellectual property practice, Tim assists in obtaining copyright and trademark registrations for clients ranging from individual artists to industrial firms, including those with multiple foreign registrations.
