Bob concentrates his practice in corporate law, including
venture capital and private investment agreements for emerging and growth
companies in high technology fields and international
distribution programs for biotech companies. He also represents
companies in business organizational matters and mergers and
acquisitions, and counsels family-owned businesses on issues
including capitalization, succession planning and
structuring family investment partnerships.
Among his recent transactions are the creation of international technology
licensing programs for companies in the pharmaceutical, medical
polymer and technical ceramics industries, including the licensing of
pharmaceutical products and transdermal drug delivery systems and
piezoelectric ceramic fibers, the creation of license, distribution
and maintenance agreements for an international computer software
company, and the management buyout of a subsidiary of a British
agricultural chemical company.
Prior to entering private practice, Bob was in-house counsel
for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association and Beecham, Inc. and
served as Vice President and General Counsel of BioSearch Medical
Products, Inc.
Bob has received the "Distinguished Alumnus" Award from the Lehigh
University Alumni Association. He has also been a guest speaker for
the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
