Susan focuses her practice in health care issues, including HIPAA compliance and other regulatory matters, fraud and abuse and reimbursement issues, medical staff and credentialing issues and corporate transactions. She frequently lectures to health care professionals and attorneys on medical records confidentiality and the HIPAA Administrative Simplification regulations, and has published several articles on the HIPAA privacy regulations.

Prior to attending law school, Susan worked as a registered nurse for more than 18 years.
