Joe concentrates his practice in the area of bankruptcy law and devotes a substantial amount of time to commercial litigation.

In bankruptcy cases, Joe has represented debtors, creditors, persons acquiring assets from bankruptcy estates and defendants in preference cases and other adversary actions. He has represented investor and corporate interests in a variety of cases in actions before the Delaware Court of Chancery. Joe clerked for the same court after graduating from law school.
