Karen, "Missy," focuses her practice on the
defense of professional liability claims. She has significant
arbitration, mediation, jury trial and appellate experience, and
represents physicians, hospitals and other health care providers
involved in litigation.
In addition to her litigation work, Missy
lectures on risk management, issues of patient involvement and
accountability and informed consent issues in both the private
practice and acute care hospital settings.
Missy was a law clerk for Lancaster County
Court of Common Pleas Judge D. Richard Eckman. She has been recognized
in Philadelphia magazine in 2005 and 2006 as a Pennsylvania
Super Lawyer Rising Star.
