Dave concentrates his practice in complex litigation and counseling, including product liability, environmental, toxic tort, insurance and numerous other matters. He has represented businesses and individuals in state and federal courts and in administrative litigation.

Dave has advised clients regarding nationwide product liability issues, including  numerous issues under the jurisdiction of the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Dave advises clients on complex regulatory issues, including federal and state administrative requirements for packaging, labeling, warnings, warranties and other requirements for marketing, shipment or other regulation of hazardous or potentially hazardous products. He also consults with businesses on regulatory, environmental and liability considerations concerning transactional matters, such as property transfers, mergers and acquisitions and product line sales.

His specific experience includes handling federal and state regulatory issues regarding the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA), including assisting clients on-scene. He assisted a client in emergency coordination of EPCRA and spill response issues with authorities in the context of a major fire that destroyed a ten acre warehouse. His expertise also includes FDA labeling compliance issues; the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act; the Federal Hazardous Substances Act; the Flammable Fabrics Act; the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act;  Weights and Measures laws; public health law violations and numerous other regulatory laws. His litigation experience includes the defense of major toxic tort and product liability claims arising from quadriplegia, brain damage, cancers and other profound injuries.
