Michael D. Pipa is an active defense trial lawyer concentrating his practice on the defense of professional negligence claims. His clients include physicians, professional corporations, hospitals and long term care providers and his practice spans all areas of healthcare litigation including licensing, medical staff issues and risk reduction.

Mike has tried complex medical negligence cases in numerous medical specialties involving issues ranging from significant neurological injury to medical equipment malfunction. He has achieved successful verdicts and settlements over the past 18 years in most of the state and federal courts throughout Central Pennsylvania and regularly utilizes alternative means such as mediation and arbitration to resolve cases.

Mike also regularly provides risk management services to hospitals and has presented seminars for physicians, hospital staff and nurses.
