Steve focuses his practice on the development and financing of middle market and growth businesses. He has represented a variety of companies including emerging, middle market and mature privately held and public companies. Steve's clients include businesses from a wide range of industries, including retail and manufacturing enterprises, consumer products, technology ventures and trucking and warehousing businesses.

In addition to being Of Counsel to Stevens & Lee, Steve is a Managing Director of Griffin Financial Group, our affiliated investment bank, where he provides investment banking services to clients and their principals in emerging, growth and mature companies in a variety of industry sectors. He holds a Series 7 and a Series 63 license from FINRA.

Steve recently represented Clintrak Pharmaceutical Services and Acculogix (pharmaceutical outsourcing services and manufacturing enterprise) in a restructuring and private equity financing, as well as seven independent trucking companies merging in a national roll-up. He has represented a large Midwestern HMO in its sale to a public company HMO. Steve represented a device manufacturer in its acquisition of Solar Light Company, a manufacturer and assembler of solar lighting products and a data warehousing organization in its acquisition of a business intelligence company.
