Tom concentrates in estate and tax planning, fiduciary administration, litigation of fiduciary matters,
including the defense of surcharge claims brought against corporate
fiduciaries, and consulting with banks and trust companies on matters of fiduciary administration and regulatory compliance.
Tom is a life member of the Pennsylvania Joint State Government
Commission's Advisory Committee on Decedents' Estates Laws and chaired
its Pennsylvania Uniform Trust Act Subcommittee, which is credited
with the recent complete
codification of trust law in Pennsylvania. The work of the
subcommittee is
recognized nationally with several states adopting the proposal as a
model for their own trust laws.
As published in Philadelphia magazine, Tom was recognized as
a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2004, 2005 and 2006 by being selected
by his peers as among the top 5 percent of lawyers in the
Commonwealth.
