Jeff concentrates his practice exclusively in labor and employment
law, with an emphasis on employment-based immigration law. In addition
to counseling employers on complex labor relations and personnel
issues, he represents a broad range of clients in securing U.S. work
visas, including visas for foreign computer professionals, engineers,
managers, health care workers and others. Jeff also regularly advises
clients on I-9 compliance issues, and on I-9 and other immigration law
issues in corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Jeff regularly conducts management training and addresses employer
groups, seminars and continuing legal and business education classes
on various aspects of employment and immigration law, including I-9
compliance, workplace harassment and employee leave issues. He has
appeared on the television program Law Journal to discuss
violence in the workplace, and recently was a guest on Business
Matters to address business immigration reform.
In law school, Jeff served as an Editor of the Law Review.
