David focuses his practice on information technology matters, such as software licensing and implementation, data processing, call center and other outsourcing agreements; e-commerce; technology transfer, development and licensing; data privacy; and records management and retention. He also handles joint venture, distribution, manufacturer’s representative, marketing and other commercial agreements in technology and other sectors.

David was responsible for legal matters relating to the transfer of technology systems and other bank operations for Sovereign Bancorp’s acquisition of Fleet/BankBoston branches. He was also responsible for legal matters relating to the creation of Sovereign Bank’s web banking division and for the negotiation of a set of complex core data processing outsourcing agreements with multiple vendors. In the health care field, David has represented numerous institutions in the negotiation and closing of electronic medical records systems procurement projects.

Among other engagements, David has spoken at Chief Information Officer round tables, continuing legal education and other technology forums regarding e-commerce, records retention and electronic records security.

A former professional opera singer, David has appeared as a tenor soloist with the Reading Symphony Orchestra in Handel's Messiah.
