Linda R. Evers Named Among 2025 “Black Trailblazers” by City & State PA
Stevens & Lee is proud to announce that Linda R. Evers, Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Energy and Utilities Group, has been recognized by City & State PA as among its 2025 listing of “Black Trailblazers.”
Distinguished as among Pennsylvania’s leading 100 black trailblazers, Ms. Ever is spotlighted for her leadership in the energy sector and her dedicated advocacy for professional and wellness opportunities serving diverse and minority communities in Central Pennsylvania and beyond.
Ms. Evers represents public utilities and other companies in matters before regulatory agencies, including the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. With over 18 years of experience as in-house counsel, Ms. Evers provides significant and practical experience to help clients achieve favorable results that are cost-effective and make a positive impact on their financial conditions.
Prior to joining Stevens & Lee, Ms. Evers served as long-time in-house counsel for FirstEnergy, one of the largest investor-owned utilities in the nation.
As a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, Ms. Evers has been recognized by her peers as among the top one percent of attorneys in Pennsylvania who demonstrate exemplary legal leadership and community advocacy. She is a past recipient of the Berks County Presidential Award of Merit for promoting diversity in the legal profession by teaching business law to grade school children. Additionally, she is one of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Sigma Omega’s 65th Anniversary Community Partner Honorees, as well as a member of The National Black Lawyers Top 100. Ms. Evers and Stevens & Lee also received the AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lifetime Achievement Award for helping to advance scholarship and mentorship opportunities for college-bound students, as well as regional health and wellness initiatives.
