Jennifer Ermilio Elected as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Chairperson

VALLEY FORGE, PA, April 20, 2022 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Jennifer Ermilio has been elected as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Chairperson for Chester County Human Resources Association’s (CCHRA) 2022-2023 program year.

Ms. Ermilio will be responsible for leading CCHRA’s efforts to diversify its membership and leadership and for publicizing successful diversity programs in the local community. CCHRA’s mission is to offer members, who work in human resources areas, networking and education opportunities that enhance the practice of human resource management in the Chester County region.

Ms. Ermilio’s practice includes employment counseling, court litigation, arbitration and mediation, and she has particular experience with issues related to non-competition agreements and trade secrets protections within the financial services industry. She provides a full range of employment services to clients, from the drafting of corporate policies and employment agreements through counseling on employee issues, transitions and termination procedures.

As a strategic ally, Ms. Ermilio has also collaborated with clients in developing policies and procedures that both minimized legal risks and met business objectives, including the creation of employee handbooks, advising on best practices, preparing training materials and leading manager and employee training. She has written and edited employment law reference materials focused on the needs of Pennsylvania-based employment lawyers, including emerging legal issues and practice guides.

Ms. Ermilio previously served on CCHRA’s Board of Directors from 2015 to 2019 as its Legislative Chairperson, and is a member of the Montgomery County and Princeton Bar Associations. She earned her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University and her B.A. from the University of Virginia.
