Ronald M. Lucas Presents at Real Estate and Development Symposium

HARRISBURG, PA, October 28, 2014 – Ronald M. Lucas, Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Real Estate Department, was a speaker at the Central Penn Business Journal Real Estate and Development Symposium held October 14, 2014, in Harrisburg, PA.

Mr. Lucas chaired the symposium’s development panel which presented “Avoiding the Landmines.” Mr. Lucas discussed the benefits of a good project team and how such a team can overcome landmines in the development process.

Mr. Lucas concentrates his practice on real estate matters, including zoning, planning and land development across most of central and eastern Pennsylvania. He has handled a wide range of real estate issues from planning to entitlements and acquisitions for commercial, industrial and residential projects.

Mr. Lucas has served as special counsel for numerous municipalities and has represented clients in more than 35 Pennsylvania counties, before state regulatory agencies and before all appellate courts in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Lucas has written and lectured on land use issues for over 30 years to attorneys, other licensed professionals and local officials before various organizations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the former Department of Community Affairs, the American Planning Association and the Pennsylvania Planning Association. He received a J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law and a B.A. from Grove City College.
