Thomas W. Halm, Jr. Joins Stevens & Lee

PRINCETON, NJ, March 8, 2021 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Thomas W. Halm, Jr. has joined the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice in the Princeton office.

Mr. Halm represents a range of institutional lenders, financial organizations, secured and unsecured creditors, mortgage servicers, investment firms, distressed debt asset funds and receivers before state and federal courts. He has a depth of experience assisting with creditors’ rights complexities and issues surrounding commercial and residential state court foreclosure actions, bankruptcies, receiverships, collections, workout proceedings and insolvency.

As an authority on New Jersey receivership law, Mr. Halm has acted as a state court appointed receiver and as lead counsel in several of the state’s largest Ponzi scheme cases.

For the past four years, Mr. Halm been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer by being selected by his peers as among the top five percent of lawyers in the state in the area of Creditors’ Rights.

Mr. Halm earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, and a B.A., cum laude, from Seton Hall University.
