Julie concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation with a particular focus on litigation involving financial products and services. Her clients include financial services companies, broker-dealers, insurance companies, publicly traded corporations and private companies. She also represents clients in a variety of commercial disputes at the trial and appellate levels, including contractual disputes, fraud, shareholder derivative claims and breach of fiduciary duty, and ERISA litigation. Her experience includes state and federal court litigation, FINRA arbitrations and regulatory investigations involving the SEC, FINRA and state agencies.

Julie is part of Stevens & Lee’s electronic discovery team, which advises clients on information governance issues and develops cost-effective strategies to meet their obligations to preserve and produce electronically stored information before and after the start of litigation. A large part of her practice involves counseling clients on e-discovery matters, including litigation hold procedures, document retention, document collection and review issues and responding to third party subpoenas.
