Wade has a diverse legal practice that touches on a number of specialized areas of the law. For example, he represents and counsels employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. This includes matters relating to employment discrimination, ADA workplace compliance, restrictive covenants such as non-compete agreements and non-solicitation agreements, and wage and hour laws. He also defends employers in grievance arbitrations, and handles matters relating to withdrawal liability from union pension funds.

Wade is an experienced election law practitioner. He represents and counsels municipal, state, and federal candidates for elective office and political action committees on matters relating to committee formation, campaign finance law compliance, and election vendor contracts. In connection with this practice area, Wade also litigates ballot nomination petition challenges on behalf of both objectors and candidates, and election-related mandamus petitions.

Wade additionally handles land-use and zoning matters in Philadelphia, such as representing parties in appeals in cases involving applications for variances and special exceptions under the Philadelphia Zoning Code, and negotiating community benefits agreements between developers and community groups.

Wade regularly practices in federal and state courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as in administrative agencies such as the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Federal Election Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Pennsylvania Department of State, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations, the Philadelphia Board of Ethics, and the Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Wade served as law clerk to the Hon. Nitza I. Quinones Alejandro and as a judicial intern to the Hon. Sandra Mazer Moss, both in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. While in law school, he served on the Temple University Political and Civil Rights Law Review.
