Mark B. Russell<\/a>, Head of Finance at SES ESOP Strategies, is presenting “ESOPs as an Exit Strategy” at a networking event hosted by the Dallas Chapter of the Exit Planning Institute in Dallas, TX, on March 27, 2025.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In his presentation, Mark will provide insights on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) as a business exit planning strategy, including the options, mechanics, benefits, risks and ideal candidates.\u00a0Attendees will learn about the benefits and pitfalls of utilizing an ESOP, business planning considerations and the types of situations best suited for this strategic avenue.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

An ESOP provides a tax-advantaged solution that can meet a company\u2019s needs in a variety of situations. ESOPs can be used to generate shareholder liquidity, create a market for the shares of a closely held company, increase employees\u2019 productivity by making them beneficial owners, and support a tax-advantageous\u00a0exit strategy\u00a0for\u00a0departing\u00a0shareholder(s).<\/p>\r\n\r\n
