Renenger<\/a>, President and CEO of SES ESOP Strategies, presented as part of the 2020 Elevate AEC Virtual Experience on Nov. 11, 2020.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Renenger co-presented \u201cRealizing the Benefits of ESOPs\u201d along with Clayton Bubeck, President of RETTEW, to an audience of nearly 300 architecture, engineering and environmental consulting (AEC) professionals. The presentation examined employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) as a succession strategy. You can view the discussion in its entirety below.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/T1_LI37dNXk?si=D_ExwmbG84TtPJ2L\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe> In addition to his role as President and CEO of SES ESOP Strategies, Mr. Renenger is Co-Chair of the ESOP Group and the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group at Stevens &amp; Lee, an affiliated company of SES ESOP Strategies. In this capacity, he assists companies in navigating the complexities of ESOPs, and advises business owners on how to sell their companies to employees through an ESOP, as well as other ESOP-related transactions.<\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:post-content -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\r\n<p>He works with the entire range of ESOP-owned companies, including S Corporations, C Corporations, private companies, publicly traded companies, companies that are wholly owned by the ESOP trust and companies in which the ESOP is a minority owner. Mr. Renenger also counsels ESOP trustees on their fiduciary obligations under ERISA in ESOP-related transactions and when unique situations arise in an already established ESOP.<\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\r\n<p>He holds a J.D., <em>magna cum laude<\/em>, Order of the Coif, from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A., First in Class, <em>summa cum laude<\/em>, Phi Beta Kappa, from The Catholic University of America.<\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph \/-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>READING, PA, Nov. 16, 2020 \u2013 Edward C.
