Mastering the Bid: Staying Compliant in State and Local Markets

Maeve Cannon, Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Administrative Law and Government Contracts Group, presented “Mastering the Bid: Staying Compliant in State and Local Markets” at the Building Better Business Summit hosted by ABC New Jersey at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton, NJ, on May 21 at 9:00 a.m.

Maeve discussed how being the lowest bidder is only half the challenge. Bidders who are responsive to and understand the many rules governing procurement at the state and local level can help ensure their bids are not disqualified as noncompliant. This seminar addressed the many requirements of state and local contracting and provided real-world advice to help you submit a responsive and responsible bid. Attendees also gained insights into the many dos and don’ts of public bidding.
