Health Care - Associates (Philadelphia/Princeton)

The Stevens & Lee Health Care Group represents and assists hospitals and health systems, physicians and other providers in meeting the many challenges they face in a changing and consolidating industry. We bring lawyers of diverse experience, educational backgrounds and industry expertise together to provide a full range of legal services tailored to the needs of this highly regulated industry.

The continued growth and expansion of our practice has created the need for a skilled, mid-level associate with 3-8 years of diverse health care legal experience, although we also welcome candidates with three or more years of corporate transactional experience who are interested in specializing in the health care industry. We seek highly motivated, growth-oriented individuals. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are prerequisites. Candidates must be self-starters with the ability to work individually and in teams. Ideal candidates will have 3-7 years of meaningful experience in one or more of the following:

  • Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations and corporate reorganizations
  • Sales of medical practices under both asset-based and equity-based structures
  • Health care industry business lifecycle issues, including drafting operating agreements, medical director agreements and employment agreements
  • Providing regulatory counsel and guidance on laws affecting health care clients, including corporate practice of medicine standards

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey. NY admission a plus.

Commercial Litigation - Associate (Wilmington)

Stevens & Lee’s Litigation Group consists of more than 60 attorneys, including over 15 associates. Our litigators are problem-solvers who deliver efficient, desired outcomes to clients facing disputes. The continued growth and expansion of our practice have created the need for a skilled, upper-level associate with 4-7 years of commercial litigation experience in Delaware. This position offers the opportunity for hands-on litigation, including courtroom experience and deposition practice (taking and defending).

If you have developed skills in these areas and are looking to gain additional substantive experience with increased responsibility, all while working in a collegial environment, we would like to talk with you. We seek highly motivated, growth-oriented individuals. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are prerequisites. We seek self-starters with the ability to work individually and in teams. Ideal candidates will have meaningful experience in the following areas:

Real Estate Attorney – Senior Associate (Providence)

Stevens & Lee’s Real Estate Group offers a deep base of practical experience representing owners, developers, financial institutions, and other entities in a broad range of real estate-related matters, including acquisitions, conveyances, land use approvals, construction, and leasing. Our real estate team is widely known as experienced, aggressive and creative problem solvers who consistently deliver exceptional results for clients.  The continued growth and expansion of our practice have created the need for an experienced upper mid-level senior associate in our Providence, RI office.

Qualifications: 

Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years of real estate transactional experience that includes any of the following areas:

  • Land use, zoning and development
  • Commercial real estate transactions (acquisition and sale)
  • Commercial leasing
  • Real estate financing
  • Realty transfer tax matters
  • Contract drafting

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Rhode Island or eligible to obtain admission promptly in the state.
