NJICLE: Civil Mediation Training Course

Suzanne M. McSorley, a Shareholder in Stevens & Lee’s Litigation Department, was a CLE instructor on Day 3 of “Civil Mediation Training Course” hosted the New Jersey Bar State Bar Association at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, NJ on Feb. 14, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The five-day course offered 48.2 CLE credits, including 3.0 in ethics and 3.0 in diversity.

Sue was joined by Laura A. Kaster, a highly experienced mediator and arbitrator, in leading a program that explored and practiced skills and techniques used by court-approved mediators. Attendees gained knowledge to effectively manage conflict, enhance communication and negotiation skills and learned strategies for dealing with the problems that arise during the mediation process.
