FSL Public Finance and Stevens & Lee and Advise Allegheny County in General Obligation Bond Financings
Proceeds Provide Needed Infrastructure Funding in Allegheny County
The Stevens & Lee Companies announced today that two of its affiliated professional services firms advised Allegheny County in connection with the pricing of $63,240,000 in General Obligation Bonds, Series C-82A and C-82B, as well as in the pricing of $214,415,000 in General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series C-83.
Stevens & Lee, a full-service law firm, acted as Bond Counsel to the county in the transactions, while FSL Public Finance (FSL), a municipal advisory firm, served as financial advisor.
Proceeds from the refunding bonds were used to refinance existing county debt, while proceeds from the new general obligation bonds will benefit needed infrastructure projects across the County.
The financings mark the first large general obligation bond transaction Stevens & Lee and FSL have together advised and closed in the Pittsburgh region, a measure of the platform’s expanded capabilities in Western Pennsylvania.
