Experienced Public Finance Attorney Andrew C. Maher Joins Stevens & Lee

 

VALLEY FORGE, PA, Aug. 14, 2024 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Andrew C. Maher has joined the firm’s Tax-Exempt Finance Department in the Valley Forge, PA, office.

Mr. Maher is a seasoned public and project finance attorney. He serves as bond counsel and borrower’s counsel to a range of governmental, higher education and nonprofit organizations across Pennsylvania, and acts as underwriter’s counsel and bank counsel for financial institutions, brokerages and trusts. He also assists with the structure, issuance and sale of federally taxable and tax-exempt securities in public and private municipal securities offerings, and helps to navigate securities and tax regulatory landscapes.

Mr. Maher has worked on a broad range of projects related to public-private partnerships (PPP), housing projects for multifamily and single-family residences and initiatives aimed at economic development.

He is a past president and a current board member of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers, and he earned his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and his A.B. from Georgetown University.
