Joseph E. Wolfson Presents at Seminar on Advanced Trial Tactics
READING, PA, September 9, 2019 – Joseph E. Wolfson, a shareholder with Stevens & Lee, presented at a National Business Institute seminar, “Advanced Trial Tactics,” held in Philadelphia, PA, on August 23, 2019.
Mr. Wolfson presented, “Effective Exhibits and Courtroom Technology.” His session covered overcoming fear and confronting technology, preparing for a digital trial, choosing the right method and form of an exhibit, considering how opposing counsel could use self-introduced evidence and using pre-testimony video depositions.
Mr. Wolfson is Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Antitrust and Unfair Competition Group and Chair of the Intellectual Property Group. He concentrates his practice in corporate and complex litigation, including antitrust, trademark, trade secret, unfair competition and consumer fraud disputes, particularly in the pharmaceutical, insurance and financial services and health care industries. Mr. Wolfson has served as lead counsel representing clients in a wide variety of matters, including class actions and internal investigations. He has successfully tried numerous antitrust and intellectual property disputes to verdict including cases involving patent licensing, trade name infringement, trade dress infringement and the nation’s first outsourced E-911 emergency response system. Mr. Wolfson is a former state prosecutor for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
He has a J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
