READING, PA, January 6, 2014 – Stevens & Lee today announced that Julie E. Ravis has been named shareholder of the firm effective January 1, 2014.
Julie E. Ravis concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation with a particular focus on litigation involving financial products and services. Her clients include financial services companies, broker-dealers, insurance companies, publicly traded corporations and private companies. She also represents clients in a variety of commercial disputes at the trial and appellate levels, including contractual disputes, fraud, shareholder derivative claims and breach of fiduciary duty. Her experience includes state and federal court litigation, FINRA arbitrations and regulatory investigations involving the SEC, FINRA and state agencies.
As part of Stevens & Lee’s electronic discovery team, Ms. Ravis regularly counsels clients on e-discovery matters, including litigation hold procedures, document retention, document collection and review issues and responding to third party subpoenas.
Ms. Ravis received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her B.B.A, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. While in law school, Ms. Ravis was the Executive Issue Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review.
