COVID-19: A Practical Guide for Employers NOW and Into the Future

Summary: The COVID-19 global pandemic has presented challenges to employers unlike any crisis ever before. In this webinar, we addressed what employers need to know now and going forward as it relates to business changes wrought by the pandemic. Issues covered include:

  • Business closure/stay at home orders in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware
  • What employers need to know as it relates to the Federal Families First Act legislation and the status of the implementing regulations
  • State-specific laws and guidance related to COVID-19 employment issues
  • EEOC guidance related to COVID-19 (temperature taking, medical inquiries, examinations, etc.)
  • Other legal issues implicated in this pandemic, including issues arising under the WARN Act, Mini-WARN Acts, OSHA, workers’ compensation laws, unemployment compensation laws, and immigration laws

Importantly, we addressed the practical questions that Human Resources professionals and other members of leadership teams are facing.
