Governor Wolf Provides Guidance to Businesses Set to Reopen

On May 4, 2020, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf provided guidance to businesses that conduct in-person operations in counties slated to reopen in the coming months. The guidance includes specific information on cleaning and disinfecting premises and limiting the number of employees in common areas and customers on premises.

The guidance also requires businesses to print, sign and post the “COVID-19 Safety Procedure for Businesses” flyer on their premises, which outlines their responsibilities during the pandemic. The flyer also contains a space for the business to indicate a “Pandemic Safety Officer” who will be in charge of COVID-19 safety procedures for the business.
