Montgomery County (PA) Announces Round Two of the MontcoStrong Small Business Grant Program

On May 6, the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners announced that it is making available $5,000,000 in economic development funds to provide grants to eligible small businesses in the county. The permitted uses for the grant and eligibility criteria are available here.

Applications will be accepted beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 and the application window will close at approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

For Round 1 of this program, the county received 1520 applications in 6 ½ hours which requested approximately $33.7 million in grants. The county ultimately awarded $997,443.15 in 43 grant awards.
