Health Care Law Fundamentals

Kirsten M. Raleigh, Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Health Care practice, will present at the ABA Emerging Issues in Health Care Law Conference scheduled for March 8-11 in San Diego, CA.

Health Care Law encompasses a variety of business sectors, including government, care providers, hospitals, insurance companies, compliance regulators and technology. The common denominators of these intersecting and sometime competing interests are legislation, regulation and compliance.

During this workshop, experienced professionals will provide baseline knowledge in the following subjects: HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare/Medicaid, EMTALA, Health Insurance, Digital Health/Virtual Care, Corporate Practice of Medicine, and Professional (State) Licensure, that every attorney new to the practice needs to ensure success in the industry.
