Join David J. Shipley, Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee’s State and Local Tax Group, as he moderates the panel “Evaluating Formulary Apportionment of State Corporate Income Tax” at the 41st Institute on State and Local Taxation in New York, New York. Panel discussion will cover significant legislative and administrative changes to corporate income tax apportionment formulas. Panelists will also explore recent decisions and pending cases regarding the apportionment of capital transactions, intangible income and services, as well as the ability of states and taxpayers to invoke alternative apportionment formulas. Panel members include Lynn A. Gandhi, Esq., Partner of Foley & Lardner, and Marc A. Simonetti, Partner of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
