Delaware Bankruptcy Attorney Gregory T. Donilon Joins Stevens & Lee
WILMINGTON, DE, May 29, 2025 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Gregory T. Donilon has joined the Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group in the firm’s Wilmington, DE office. He joins a department strategically positioned to provide clients with local access to the federal, district and bankruptcy courts in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

Mr. Donilon has extensive experience in business restructuring, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation. His representations span all aspects of financial restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings in Delaware, and include official and ad hoc creditor committees, liquidation and litigation trustees, plan administrators, secured and unsecured creditors, lenders, asset purchasers, landlords, lease and contract parties, debtors and other parties in interest. Clients regularly rely on Mr. Donilon to serve as lead or Delaware co-counsel in bankruptcy cases. His experience extends across numerous industries, including retail, manufacturing, gas and oil, automotive, alternative energy, commercial real estate, entertainment and hospitality, financial and media and publishing.
Mr. Donilon also represents clients in commercial matters before Delaware state and federal courts and handles bankruptcy-related litigation in Delaware and other jurisdictions for a range of issues, including claims objections, preference, fraudulent transfer and other avoidance actions, and collection and turnover actions.
Mr. Donilon earned his J.D., cum laude, from American University Law School and his B.S.F.S from Georgetown University.
