Harry A. Horwitz Presents at the Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey Chapter Central Jersey Council Meeting
PRINCETON, NJ, June 4, 2015 – Stevens & Lee Shareholder Harry A. Horwitz spoke as part of a panel at the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. New Jersey Chapter’s Central Jersey Council Meeting held May 28, 2015, in Hamilton, NJ.
Mr. Horwitz was a panelist for “A Practical Approach to Protecting Your Interests and Maximizing Profitability and Cash Flow,” where he discussed construction liens, providing information on navigating the complexities of lien law to benefit the builders and contractors in attendance.
Mr. Horwitz focuses his practice on litigation matters and has tried cases concerning joint venture and partnership disputes, employment, construction and commercial issues. He represents clients in the construction industry, as well as financial services, health care, food service, distribution, manufacturing and professional and non-professional services clients. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification.
Mr. Horwitz has a broad range of employment litigation experience, including non-compete and trade secret information, wrongful discharge and discrimination cases, representation cases, unfair labor cases, mass picketing injunctions, prevailing wage disputes and contractor registration issues. He counsels employers in compliance issues for matters involving discrimination, wage and hour, leave and other laws. He also has tried, arbitrated and mediated cases for construction industry clients, including construction defect, contractual liability and construction and mechanics lien claims.
Mr. Horwitz has a J.D. from Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. from Colgate University.
