Heather Eshelman McCusker Presents National Business Institute Continuing Legal Education Session
PRINCETON, NJ, November 18, 2015 – Stevens & Lee’s Heather Eshelman McCusker, Of Counsel, presented a National Business Institute Continuing Legal Education session held November 9, 2015, in Princeton, NJ.
In “Top Estate Planning Techniques: Simple and Effective Wealth Preservation Methods,” Ms. McCusker provided a walkthrough of the basics of estate planning and beyond with old and new techniques that practitioners have selected to be the most effective in their practice. The session covered the reasons behind their effectiveness and taught practical tips for maximizing their uses.
Ms. McCusker concentrates her practice in wealth planning and estates, advising high net worth individuals, families, business owners and fiduciaries in matters such as estate planning, trust and estate administration, taxation, guardianships, probate, contested estates, tax controversies on the federal and state levels, business succession planning, charitable giving and non-profit formation.
Ms. McCusker is a frequent lecturer on a broad range of tax, trust, estate and probate topics and presents before community and professional education organizations for accountants, financial planners and advisers, attorneys and insurance professionals. She is active in her state and local bar associations, the Mercer County Estate Planning Council and the CohnReznick Executive Women’s Forum. Ms. McCusker is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Princeton Child Development Institute.
She served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Paulette M. Sapp-Peterson, P.J.Cv., New Jersey Superior Court. While in law school, Ms. McCusker was an editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. She has a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Villanova University.
