James F. Kratz Named Stevens & Lee Shareholder

ALLENTOWN, PA, January 6, 2020 – Stevens & Lee today announced that James F. Kratz has been named a shareholder of the firm effective January 1, 2020.

Mr. Kratz concentrates his practice in real estate and municipal law. He represents municipalities, landowners, tenants and developers in all aspects of real estate transactions, development and use, including leasing, acquisition and sales, zoning, subdivision and land development approvals, real estate tax appeals and Payments in Lieu of Tax Agreements (PILOTs). He also advises on Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, title and boundary disputes and real estate litigation.

Mr. Kratz regularly counsels clients on procedures to resolve or avoid disputes and advises clients on the risks and benefits of litigation, mediation and other dispute resolution procedures.

He received a J.D. from the Temple University School of Law and a B.B.A., summa cum laude, from Temple University School of Business. As published in Philadelphia magazine, Mr. Kratz was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2010, 2013 and 2014.
