ALLENTOWN, PA, September 30, 2022 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Julie Wagner Burkart has joined the firm’s Real Estate Department. She is based in the Allentown office.
Ms. Burkart has more than 20 years of experience that combines general counsel leadership at a real estate development, construction and investment conglomerate with practice in the areas of land use and zoning law, contracts and leasing, landlord-tenant law, business formation and organization, estate planning and litigation. Her counsel focuses on strategically navigating a range of real estate transaction and development issues to advance the project, investment and business goals of her clients.
Ms. Burkart has also litigated and handled a range of disputes arising from various contracts, construction defects, landlord-tenant claims and encroachment issues. Across her representations, Ms. Burkart has worked closely with architects, land use planners, traffic professionals and civil engineers, including Department of Transportation, Department of Environmental Protection and government officials.
Ms. Burkart earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her B.S. from Villanova University.
