Robert P. Donovan and Ryan P. Mulvaney Join Stevens & Lee, Expanding the Firm’s Northern New Jersey Presence
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ, February 17, 2021 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Robert P. Donovan and Ryan P. Mulvaney have joined the firm.
“We are pleased to have these skilled litigators join us in our Bergen County office,” said Ernie Choquette, Chairman, President and CEO of Stevens & Lee.
“Bob and Ryan add notable depth to our commercial and business litigation practice in northern New Jersey. We look forward to assisting them in continuing to provide excellent service to their clients,” said Mr. Choquette.
Stevens & Lee broadened its regional footprint when it expanded into northern New Jersey in May of last year with the addition of a talented team of lawyers led by Salvatore Giampiccolo and Nicole DiBello.
“As we grow our presence in this market, we advance the firm’s strategy and strengthen the transactional and litigation services we offer to a wide range of clients within this market,” said Mr. Choquette.
Robert P. Donovan has significant experience in complex commercial litigation, consumer class actions, wage and hour class actions, business torts, labor and employment, and municipal law. He has served as lead trial counsel in both federal and state court and has extensive experience on the appellate level. Robert successfully argued the seminal case of Cameco v. Gedicke, where the New Jersey Supreme Court found that an at-will employee owed a common law duty of loyalty to the employer.
Ryan P. Mulvaney has a dynamic litigation practice that assists financial services and other clients in a range of commercial, business, corporate and employment matters before state and federal trial and appellate courts in New Jersey, New York and other jurisdictions. His experience extends to local government law, election law and campaign finance.
