Gore to reform the national voting process by requiring all voting systems in the United States to meet certain criteria.  He is regularly retained by elected officials and candidates, political party organizations and clerks during primary and general election cycles in election recounts and contests, and has served on Election Day legal teams for dozens of New Jersey gubernatorial, legislative and municipal candidates.

Ryan is a contributing author of the annually updated New Jersey Local Government Desk Book, specifically the chapters on the Open Public Records Act, Election Law, and Municipal Finance, and provided the research for an article that addressed the potential liability of corporate officers and directors of environmental companies pursuant to various state and federal environmental statutes.

Following law school, Ryan served as a federal law clerk to the Hon. Dennis M. Cavanaugh U.S.D.J. (ret.) in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
