Stevens & Lee Adds Environmental Lawyer Frank Brennan

PRINCETON, N.J; March 3, 2026 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Francis J. Brennan, III has joined the firm’s Real Estate, Environmental and Litigation Practices as a Shareholder.

Practicing at the intersection of federal and New Jersey environmental policy and business issues, Mr. Brennan has more than three decades of experience assisting clients with environmental litigation and compliance, commercial litigation and real estate matters. He has prosecuted and defended hundreds of complex environmental cases, including New Jersey Spill Act cleanup cost recovery litigation and petroleum law and litigation, and handles a wide range of business disputes related to contracts, commercial leases, real estate, land use and insurance coverage.

In addition to his litigation practice, he also assists clients with environmental compliance, including compliance with New Jersey Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), underground tank regulation and land use and zoning.

Mr. Brennan serves as counsel to the New Jersey Energy Marketers Group (NJEM, formerly NJGCA) and is a frequent speaker on legal developments to organizations like the Petroleum Equipment Contractors Association of New Jersey, of which he is a member.

Mr. Brennan earned his J.D. from William & Mary School of Law and his B.A from Dickinson College.
