PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 1, 2018 – Stevens & Lee/Griffin today announced the launch of SES ESOP Strategies, a national ESOP firm. The company is a result of the combination of Steiker, Greenapple & Fusco, P.C., (SG&F) and its affiliate, SES Advisors, with Stevens & Lee/Griffin.
Together with its affiliated companies from the Stevens & Lee/Griffin platform, SES ESOP Strategies brings together one of the largest core groups of ESOP lawyers, consultants and investment bankers in the U.S.
The professionals in this new organization will continue to work with private company owners across the country to design, fund and implement transactions for succession and sale using Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), and to assist current ESOPs to ensure long-term sustainability with substantial employee ownership.
Jim Steiker, former president and CEO of SES Advisors, will serve as president and CEO of SES ESOP Strategies and Ed Renenger will serve as COO.
In addition, lawyers from SG&F have joined Stevens & Lee’s ESOP legal practice. In addition to Mr. Steiker, joining Stevens & Lee are Steven B. Greenapple, Paul S. Fusco and Sean-Tamba Matthew.
