Stevens & Lee Names New Shareholders

READING, PA and VALLEY FORGE, PA, January 2, 2012 – Stevens & Lee announces that Sunjeet S. Gill, Edward C. Renenger and Lisa M. Scidurlo have been named shareholders of the firm effective January 1, 2012.

Sunjeet S. Gill focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance matters for clients in various industries, including financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing. He represents clients such as business enterprises, merchant banking and investment banking firms, financial sponsors, executives, shareholders, boards of directors and special board committee in such capacities as purchasers, sellers, lenders and financial advisors. He also assists clients in both routine corporate matters and complex regulatory and transactional issues, including fiduciary duties, general takeover and takeover defense advice and proxy contests. Mr. Gill received a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, a B.A. from Georgetown University and studied at Cambridge University, England, and Hong Kong University.

Edward C. Renenger is an employee benefits attorney who concentrates his practice on qualified retirement plans. He advises clients on the structure and administration of defined benefit pension plans and defined contribution plans, including 401(k) plans. In addition, he guides clients through the retirement correction programs and, in this capacity, regularly acts as legal counsel before the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor. He also has particular expertise on the feasibility, design, implementation and administration of employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) for both Subchapter S Corporations, as well as Subchapter C Corporations. Mr. Renenger received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A., summa cum laude, from The Catholic University of America.

Lisa M. Scidurlo is a labor and employment attorney who concentrates her practice in all aspects of labor management and employee relations, including counseling, employee and supervisor training and administrative agency and court litigation. She regularly handles cases involving claims under Title VII, Americans With Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and other federal, state and local employment discrimination laws nationwide. Ms. Scidurlo received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University School of Law and a B.A., with Highest Distinction, from The Pennsylvania State University.
