Stevens & Lee Princeton Continues Growth Strategy

The firm welcomes Wealth Planning, Trusts and Estates Attorney Heather Eshelman McCusker

PRINCETON, NJ, October 14, 2015 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Heather Eshelman McCusker has joined the firm as Of Counsel in its Princeton office.

An experienced wealth planning, trusts and estates lawyer, Ms. McCusker joins a 20-attorney office providing a complete range of legal services to clients throughout New Jersey.

As part of the firm’s strategic plan to expand in New Jersey, administrative law and government contract lawyers Patrick D. Kennedy and Maeve E. Cannon, and real estate lawyer Ryan P. Kennedy joined the firm last month. In 2014, a team of five employment lawyers concentrating in employee raiding and recruitment strategies led by Thomas B. Lewis joined Stevens & Lee Princeton.

Ms. McCusker concentrates her practice in wealth planning and estates, advising high net worth individuals, families, business owners and fiduciaries in matters such as estate planning, trust and estate administration, taxation, guardianships, probate, contested estates, tax controversies on the federal and state levels, business succession planning, charitable giving and non-profit formation.

Ms. McCusker is a frequent lecturer on a broad range of tax, trust, estate and probate topics and presents before community and professional education organizations for accountants, financial planners and advisers, attorneys and insurance professionals. She is active in her state and local bar associations, the Mercer County Estate Planning Council and the CohnReznick Executive Women’s Forum. Ms. McCusker is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Princeton Child Development Institute.

She served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Paulette M. Sapp-Peterson, P.J.Cv., New Jersey Superior Court. While in law school, Ms. McCusker was an editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. She has a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Villanova University.
