Andy is a highly experienced registered patent agent who focuses on patent drafting, submission, and prosecution in the areas of semiconductor design, system architecture, analog/mixed-signal and radio frequency circuit designs, digital communication systems, and software for visualizations, compilation, and operating systems. His technical expertise is backed by business leadership experience in the semiconductor design and electronic design automation (EDA) industries, as well as key management and advisory roles for a variety of startup companies across more than four decades.
Andy understands the analysis and approaches necessary to craft patent applications that maximize their competitive value. His goal for drafting and prosecuting an invention is to limit the number of office actions while capturing the broadest and most relevant claim set in a strategic description.
