Liz concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation. Her clients include health care systems, financial institutions, insurance companies, pension plans and other public and private businesses. She represents clients in a variety of commercial disputes at the trial and appellate levels, with a particular emphasis on business torts, ERISA matters, class action lawsuits and securities litigation. Her experience includes state and federal court litigation, FINRA arbitrations and regulatory investigations involving the SEC.
Liz served as Counsel for Independence Blue Cross, handling complex litigation matters and providing pre-litigation and risk management advice to business regarding contracting issues, corporate financial investigations and audits before returning to practice with Stevens & Law.
Prior to joining Stevens & Lee, Liz served a two-year clerkship with the Honorable William W. Caldwell, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
