Joe focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including debt and equity financings and mergers and acquisitions. His work includes representing private equity funds, financial institutions and entrepreneurs in mezzanine investments, cash-flow and asset-based loan transactions, asset and stock purchases and sales, recapitalizations and refinancings.

Joe also represents middle-market businesses in corporate governance and other general corporate matters. His work spans multiple jurisdictions and involves industries ranging from financial services to aerospace and defense.

While in law school, Joe earned a certificate in business, economics and public policy from the Wharton School of Business and was a counselor in the University of Pennsylvania’s Entrepreneurship and Civil Practice Clinics, an associate editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law and a judicial intern to the Hon. Charles J. Cunningham, III, of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
